Rehman Clinic was established in 1992 by Dr. Hakim Muhammad Abdul Haq. He is a highly experienced physician and leading practitioner of Unani-Tibb medicine in South Africa. He started his career in 1987 as a physician and lecturer in Hamdard College of Eastern Medicine and then in Hamdard University, Pakistan after schooled and trained in Unani -Tibb along with comprehensive study of conventional medicine as well as Masters in Islamic studies. In 1998 he joined the Ibn Sina Institute of Tibb', Be-Tabs, as ‘Head of Research and Training' and ‘Chief Physician' for the development of Unani Tibb Medicine on tertiary level in South Africa. Over the past 22 years, as a specialist in Unani Tibb, he taught Anatomy, Philosophy of Tibb, Pharmacology, Herbology, and Practice of Medicine to thousand of students on tertiary level and he has successfully treated various acute and chronic illnesses.
